The The Free Poker Room “Fantasy Poker League” has arrived.

For years, fantasy sports have kept enthusiasts excited about their favorite sports while giving them a rooting interest in the outcome of individual games. According to Wikipedia, “a fantasy sport is a game where participants act as owners to build a team that competes against other fantasy owners based on the statistics generated by the real individual players.” Although it may not be considered a sport, we have applied the same concept to poker.

The The Free Poker Room “Fantasy Poker League” has arrived.

With the addition of the The Free Poker Room “National Poker League” we are very pleased to announce the creation of the The Free Poker Room “Fantasy Poker League”. The “Fantasy Poker League” and the “National Poker League” go hand and hand as the players available to the Fantasy owners come directly from the “National Poker League”. Fantasy owners draft a team of poker players who compete in a series of tournaments and earn points based upon their finish or money earned. Whatever team earns the most points at the end, wins.
